* The University reserves the absolute right to determine the number of candidates actually offered admission in any Program. Only candidates who meet the University’s admissions criteria as determined solely by the University shall be offered admission to any Program. This may mean the number of students admitted into any program may be more or less than the number of seats declared.
Applications for Undergraduate Admissions have commenced. You can create a log-in and start filling up the application.
Selection to Shiv Nadar University Undergraduate program will be based on a composite score of your Class XII examinations, SNUSAT and relevant APT. Submission of application in earliest possible round will improve the possibility to get the program/stream of your choice.
Shiv Nadar University’s eligibility criteria are developed to shortlist candidates with subject knowledge which serves as the foundation for each program. While students are admitted to a specific program, the University offers flexibility to transfer to another program/school in the University after completion of one year in the program admitted to, subject to policies governing such transfer.
Fulfilling the eligibility criteria is only the first step and does not entitle a candidate to admission. The candidate needs to complete all the stages successfully to be offered admission to Shiv Nadar University. Also, the scholarships given below are indicative and the decision of Shiv Nadar University with respect to grant of scholarship will be final and binding depending on the performance in the selection process.
To provide a fair and equal opportunity to every aspirant, Shiv Nadar University normalizes the scores obtained in Class XII to even out the inconsistencies that exist between various Boards of Examinations. You can check your eligibility and scholarship based on your Examination Board and Class XII scores in the matrix below. If any of your Program preferences are mapped to a different APT, you are required to take the additional 30 min APT(s). However, there is no need to repeat SNUSAT. For instance, when Program preference 1 is B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and Program preference 2 is B.Sc. (Research) in Biotechnology, you first need to appear for SNUSAT + APTs “Physics+ Maths”. For B.Sc.(Research) in Biotechnology, you will have to give an additional APT of “Biology”.
All the questions except the SNUSAT Essay and Critical Writing in APT will be Multiple Choice Type. There is no negative marking.
SNUSAT Essay and Critical writing sections will have to be typed on the computer, within the stipulated time.
